Women Lead the Change: This Week's Wins to Celebrate

The world is shifting, and women are leading the charge.

This week, we're shattering records in the most extreme conditions on Earth, launching women-first transportation services, and supporting our communities in ways never imagined before. This is what collective power looks like. This is the paradigm shift we've been building toward.

Let's dive into the wins that prove the future is already here.

Historic Wins for Women

Australian Woman Wins Antarctic Ice Marathon: Australia's Catherine Drysdale made history by becoming the first woman ever to claim the title at the Antarctic Ice Marathon, finishing in 3:48:43 and beating the entire field by more than six minutes in freezing -18°C conditions. Women occupied two of the three podium positions, with Poland's Joanna Drewnicka-Ogrodnik taking third overall, and 70-year-old Domitilia Dos Santos became the oldest woman to complete the race.

Barbara Johns Statue Replaces Robert E. Lee: A statue of Barbara Rose Johns, the teenager who led a walkout at her Virginia high school in 1951, has replaced the statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee in the U.S. Capitol's Emancipation Hall. Johns was only 16 when she organized the protest against segregation at her school, and her activism contributed to the Brown v. Board of Education case. The symbolism is undeniable: a young Black girl who fought against segregation now stands where a man who fought to preserve slavery once did.

Iowa Proposes Fathers Pay 50% of Pregnancy Expenses: Rep. Ashley Hinson, R-Iowa, has introduced the Supporting Healthy Pregnancy Act, which would require biological fathers to pay at least 50% of out-of-pocket medical costs associated with pregnancy and delivery, including health insurance premiums. The bill is part of a package aimed at supporting women who choose to keep their babies, addressing the current gap where single mothers often bear all pregnancy costs alone. It's a rare moment of bipartisan common sense: if we're going to talk about supporting families, let's start by making sure both parents share the financial responsibility from day one.

Protecting Our Communities

Community-Owned Grocery Store Opens in Flint: After more than a decade of advocacy, the North Flint Food Market has finally opened its doors as a community-owned cooperative grocery store, ending years of food desert conditions in North Flint where major chains like Meijer and Kroger had abandoned the neighborhood. The store provides fresh produce, hot food, and 40 new jobs, with community members able to join as co-op owners while non-members can still shop.

Brazil Strengthens Protections for Victims of Gender-Based Violence:
Brazilian President Lula signed a new law reinforcing protection for women experiencing gender-based violence. This will allow judges to suspend gun ownership, remove abusers from homes, and ban contact with victims. The legislation also increases sentences for the rape of children under 14 and comes amid record cases of violence against women and widespread demonstrations demanding action.

Refusing to Stay Silent

Boston Activists Stage "ICE Tea Party" Protest: Progressive activists dumped ice blocks into Boston Harbor in a symbolic protest against the Trump administration's immigration enforcement, reimagining the Boston Tea Party for modern resistance. Around 1,000 protesters rallied at the Irish Famine Memorial Plaza before marching to the waterfront on the 252nd anniversary of the original Tea Party.

Bay Area Hospital Continues Trans Youth Healthcare:
After massive community backlash, including a rally of over 100 people, Sutter Health reversed its decision to stop providing gender-affirming care for transgender patients under 19, rescheduling appointments that had been canceled. The reversal came after families organized through Rainbow Families Action, a collective of roughly 300 families with transgender children, demanding the hospital continue care. This is proof that when communities organize and refuse to back down, major institutions are forced to listen.

Innovation and New Paradigm Shifts

Ireland Launches First Women-Focused Taxi Service: Founder Emanuela Negura just launched LadyCab, Ireland's first women-focused taxi service. This allows women to request female drivers through an app with enhanced safety features including real-time GPS tracking and emergency alerts.

First Wheelchair User Goes to Space:
German engineer Michaela Benthaus became the world's first wheelchair user to travel to space aboard Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket. She made her own way from her wheelchair into the capsule and reached the edge of space on a 10-minute flight, proving that her dream of being an astronaut was still possible.

The Founder: Tamara Rose

Tamara Rose is a visionary leader in feminine business transformation who has walked the path from masculine burnout to divine feminine leadership. Her own journey of awakening to feminine power within a masculine business world uniquely qualifies her to guide others through this sacred transformation.

After years of operating in the patriarchal business model—experiencing burnout, health challenges including Graves Disease, and financial struggle, Tamara discovered that true success comes not from pushing harder but from leading from her divine feminine capacities. By reclaiming her feminine essence, she healed her thyroid completely (defying medical expectations), transformed $80,000 of debt into a 7-figure business, and created a life of abundance without sacrifice.

With over 15 years and 20,000+ hours guiding overworked women, Tamara has developed The Sacred Success Code—a proven approach that identifies the generations of patriarchal conditioning, awakens your intuition, and activates your authentic feminine power. Her work isn't about superficial mindset shifts or traditional business strategy—it's about fundamentally transforming your relationship with your self and your success.

Her approach honors both your strategic brilliance and your feminine essence. When you work with her, you enter a new paradigm where hustle is unapologetically replaced by flow, where success and sacred divinity coexist in perfect harmony.
